Shuck. Oysters & Caviar Night

Starting April 7, 2017 every Friday evening [esc] will host a culinary treat to delight refined palates with Shuck., a weekly event featuring the finest selection of oysters and caviar in the area. The classic pairing is given a local twist with a focus on highlighting the finest in domestically-cultivated oysters and ethically-produced caviar. Oysters will be offered in servings of one, three or six and shucked to order with specialty house made sauces. Ethically produced caviar by The Caviar Company will be offered by the ounce with traditional accompaniments. A selection of fine Champagne and sparkling wines will also be available to compliment the delicate flavors of this elegant pairing or try [esc]’s own Blend 122, unique red wine exclusively created by Byington Vineyard and Winery, located in the nearby Santa Cruz Mountains. Groove along to an eclectic yet sophisticated mix of cutting-edge sounds by the hotel’s resident DJ to kick-off the weekend ahead.

Santa Cruz Mountains Vineyard Tour
Discover the quaint wine region of the Santa Cruz Mountains with an exclusive tour of Byington Vineyard & Winery, a short 45-minute drive from the hotel with chauffeured transportation and picnic lunch provided. Tour of the picturesque estate accompanied by a tasting of the vineyards award winning wines. Unpack your [esc] picnic lunch and uncork a bottle of Blend 122 on the beautiful Block 4 Patio, located at the edge of the property for breathtaking views of the Santa Cruz Mountains and the Monterey Bay.
